About Us
Our Chic Artique journey began in 2014 when we started building furniture in our garage. My husband, Jonathan, and I decided to make a few pieces of furniture to sell from a booth in Gallatin. We wanted our son, Xander, to realize the potential of small business. We wanted him to realize that a vision could become reality by building something and selling it. Jonathan learned cabinetry from his father and taught Xander to build with creative style and excellent craftsmanship.
Our family business began to flourish and we knew we needed room beyond our 10x15 booth.
We were soon able to open a 350 sq ft brick and mortar in Goodlettsville. Nashville/Goodlettsville has been so good to us over the years and our shopping experience includes 7,000 square feet of shopping of carefully curated items. We have customers travel from all over the United States to visit our store.
Our headboards and porch swings have continued to be our best sellers, but we also carry hundreds of accessories, a beautiful line bedding, lighting, rugs, architectural salvage and a ladies clothing boutique to our shopping experience.
Xander, has graduated from college and is busy developing his own career but still carries with him the lessons he learned from years of working with us.
Gracie, our high school aged daughter, has grown up in our family business. When you visit our store, she may ring you up at the cash register or greet you in the clothing boutique.
After 6 years of a double career, Jonathan began working full time in the family business. He manages the wood shop, handles the stores finances and builds and brings life to all of Jenna's display and remodeling ideas at the store.
We are excited to bring our store to you thru our website. Not only will you find our headboards with lights on a dimmer and USB ports, but a vast array of other handcrafted wood items including shelves, farm style tables, benches and plate racks.
