Back in July, we shared the news that Chic Artique is moving to Three Waters Estate, a historic home just a couple of miles from our current spot in Goodlettsville, TN. If you missed that post, you can read the full announcement here for the backstory on why we made this decision and what drew us to the property.
Since then, we've heard a lot of questions from customers in the store, so we wanted to answer the ones that keep coming up to clear up some concerns.
Are you (Jenna and Jonathan) personally moving into Three Waters Estate?
No, and this is the one we hear most. We are not personally relocating. We love our home, we just finished renovating it, and we plan to stay there for a long time. What's moving is the Chic Artique business itself, from our current location to Three Waters Estate, starting January 2027.
How does the new space compare in size to what you have now?
The house itself is a little smaller than our current store space, but there's so much more potential there once you factor in the outbuildings, the porches, and the full five acres the property sits on. We'll still carry the same wide variety of merchandise Chic Artique is known for, plus so much more once we're settled in.
What happens to all your current merchandise before the move?
This isn't like packing up a house, where everything you see gets boxed and moved with you. Our goal between now and January 2027 is to sell through as much inventory as possible. Historically, our shelves are close to empty by the end of the year, every year, for the last ten years running after Christmas. We're counting on our customers to help us do it again!
Is the new location hard to get to?
Not at all! It's only about two minutes down the road from where we are now, so it's a short drive either way. The new site is actually so much easier to get in and out of, and offers a lot more parking than our current location.
Why has this move meant so much to the community?
One thing we didn't expect is how many of you have your own connection to Three Waters Estate, whether it's a memory, a family story, or something you've always wondered about. We've loved hearing those stories over this past month, and we hope you'll keep sharing them as the move gets closer!

Chic Artique is currently located at 132 South Main St. in Goodlettsville, TN, just 12 miles from downtown Nashville. We'll keep posting updates here as January 2027 gets closer.
