How to Set a Beautiful Fall Table
Want to impress your guests this fall? A luxury tablescape is easier to pull off than you'd think when you have the right accessories on hand.
Start with a base layer, like our orange damask paper runner, then add a plaid Hester & Cook runner on top for texture. Stack our Spode Woodland salad plates (in-stock now!) over the dinner plates so the pattern shows twice, then finish with height using etched glass demijohn vases and a glass cloche. And to anchor it all, you can use statement piece like our golden turkey figurine.
How to Style a Fall Mantle
Our customers always ask for mantle ideas that work when you have a TV mounted above it, and this garland tutorial is for exactly that!
Before adding anything else, lay your greenery down first across the entire mantle to give yourself a full base to build on instead of filling gaps later. From there, work in sections rather than finishing one end before moving to the next so that it stays even the whole way across.
Once the base is full, tuck in your fall-colored faux florals like our burgundy chamomile, light orange roses, purple pepper berry spray, and maybe even our brown pom-poms.
The best part about this garland set-up is that works all year long. All you have to do is swap out a few stems for each season and it carries you from fall right through winter and beyond. Look 1: Bold and graphic pairs one statement pattern, like our pink floral with black tiger, against a green fern pillow.
Look 2: Boho and layered mixes three textures, a patterned amiya pillow, an ivory boucle pillow, and a striped lumbar.
Look 3: Rich and moody pairs a velvet animal print pillow with a solid velvet in a deep color like emerald.
